She currently serves as Chief of Staff at American Baptist College, worships at Clark Memorial United Methodist Church, and is a past member of Nashville’s Metro Human Relations Commission and the Community Oversight Board.
Admitted to the Maryland Bar (1988)
Collaboratively, she has designed and convened community dialogues, leadership retreats, and capacity-building learnings around race, equity, and collective action for the City of Nashville (2016), the Northwest YMCA (2018, 2023), and for congregations, non-profit organizations and persons with justice system involvement (2019-present).
The work holds in stewardship the languages, literatures and narratives of our complex and interlocking ecosystems. The work acknowledges, accepts, and embraces non-hierarchical value derived from visual, verbal, sonic, tactile, analogic, digital, quantitative and qualitative data.
Our work insists on rigor. It strives for excellence.
